This is a synthetic peptide designed for use in combination with anti-Kcnh2 Antibody. It may block above mentioned antibody from binding to its target protein in western blot and/or immunohistochecmistry under proper experimental settings. There is no guarantee for its use in other applications.
Kcnh2 is a pore-forming (alpha) subunit of voltage-gated inwardly rectifying potassium channel. Channel properties are modulated by cAMP and subunit assembly. It mediates the rapidly activating component of the delayed rectifying potassium current in heart (IKr).
