This antibody detects the following H1N1 proteins: Hemagglutinin (HA) approx.75 kDa, Neuraminidase monomer (NA) approx.55 kDa, Matrix (M) approx.26 kDa and Non-structural Protein monomer (NS) approx.26-27 kDa. Reacts with A/New Caledonia/20/99, A/Brisbane/10/2007, A/California/14/2009 and likely reacts with most other isolates

The main antigenic determinants of influenza A and B viruses are the hemagglutinin (HA) and neuraminidase (NA) transmembrane glycoproteins. Projections of HA and NA cover the surface of the virus particle.
