- 原理
- CD2 is a protein encoded by the CD2 gene which is approximately 39,4 kDa. CD2 is localised to the cell membrane. It is involved in PEDF induced signalling, the TGF-beta pathway, Akt signalling and ERK signalling. It is a surface antigen found on all peripheral blood T-cells. It interacts with LFA3 on antigen presenting cells to optimize immune recognition. CD2 is implicated in the triggering of T-cells with the cytoplasmic domain is implicated in the signalling function. CD2 is expressed in the spleen, pancreas, blood, kidney and lymph nodes. Mutations in the CD2 gene may result in immune defects. STJ96971 was developed from clone 3F3 and was affinity-purified from mouse ascites by affinity-chromatography using specific immunogen. This primary antibody detects endogenous CD2 proteins.
