- The antibody detects endogenous level of a-Synuclein only when phosphorylated at serine 129.
- 纯化方法
- The antibody was affinity-purified from rabbit antiserum by affinity-chromatography using epitope-specific phosphopeptide. The antibody against non-phosphopeptide was removed by chromatography using non-phosphopeptide corresponding to the phosphorylation site.

- Peptide sequence around phosphorylation site of pSer129 (M-P-S (p) -E-E) derived from Human a-Synuclein. Antibodies were produced by immunizing rabbits with synthetic phosphopeptide and KLH conjugates.

- May be involved in the regulation of dopamine release and transport. Soluble protein, normally localized primarily at the presynaptic region of axons, which can form filamentous aggregates that are the major non amyloid component of intracellular inclusions in several neurodegenerative diseases (synucleinopathies). Induces fibrillization of microtubule-associated protein tau. Reduces neuronal responsiveness to various apoptotic stimuli, leading to a decreased caspase-3 activation.
