- This antibody will recognize wild type Rev protein produced from both in vivo (expression in COS, CV-1, HeLa cell lines) and in vitro (E. coli bacterial expressionsystem and translation products). Very low crossreactivity with other E. coli proteinson western blot. Crossreactivity with other GST fusion proteins will occur unless preabsorbed against GST.

背景
- Survivin is a human gene encoding a structurally unique IAP apoptosis inhibitor. Present during fetal development, survivin is undetectable in terminally differentiated adult tissues. However, survivin becomes prominently expressed in transformed cell lines and in all the most common human cancers of lung, colon, pancreas, prostate and breast, in vivo.
