Suitable for immunoblotting (western or dot blot), ELISA, immunoprecipitation and mostimmunological methods requiring high titer and specificity. Recommended dilution: This product has been assayed against 1.0 μg of Glycerol Kinase [Celullomonas species] ina standard sandwich ELISA using Peroxidase conjugated Affinity Purified anti-Goat IgG[H&L] (Rabbit) and (ABTS(2,2-azino-bis-[3-ethylbenthiazoline-6-sulfonic acid])as asubstrate for 30 minutes at room temperature. A working dilution of 1: 1,000 to 1: 2,000 of the reconstitution concentration is suggested forthis product.
Other applications not tested.
Optimal dilutions are dependent on conditions and should be determined by the user. - 限制

- Glycerol kinase catalyzes the formation of glycerol 3 phosphate from ATP and glycerol. Dihydroxyacetone and L glyceraldehyde can also act as acceptors, UTP and, in the case of the yeast enzyme, ITP and GTP can act as donors. It provides a way for glycerol derived from fats or glycerides to enter the glycolytic pathway.
