DNA-Binding ELISA Kits allow scientist to study the direct interaction between proteins and DNA. With this method active transcription factors in nuclear or cell lysates can easily be detected and qualitative determined. Methods such as electrophoretic mobility shift assays (EMSAs), chromatin immunoprecipitation (ChIP), Western Blotting (WB) and reporter gene fusion are often time-consuming and complicated. The enzyme immunoassay was developed for rapid detection and quantitation without the need of complex sample preparation or harmful radioactive labelling. The sensitivity is comparable or higher to more complicated methods.
