背景
- Predicted to enable growth factor binding activity and vascular endothelial growth factor receptor activity. Acts upstream of or within blood vessel development, establishment of left/right asymmetry, and regulation of heart contraction. Predicted to be located in membrane. Predicted to be part of receptor complex. Predicted to be active in plasma membrane. Is expressed in angioblastic mesenchymal cell, brain, cardiovascular system, endothelial cell, and somite. Human ortholog(s) of this gene implicated in Kuhnt-Junius degeneration, bronchopulmonary dysplasia, diabetic retinopathy, and pre-eclampsia. Orthologous to human FLT1 (fms related receptor tyrosine kinase 1).
