NeutralizationTo yield one-half maximal inhibition [ND50] of the biological activity of mVEGF (50.00 ng/mL), a concentration of 1.0-2.0 μg/mL of this antibody is required. ELISAIndirect: To detect mVEGF by indirect ELISA (using 100 μL/well antibody solution) aconcentration of 0.5 - 2.0 μg/mL of this antibody is required. This antibody, in conjunctionwith compatible secondary reagents, allows the detection of at least 0.2-0.4 ng/well ofrecombinant mVEGF. Sandwich: To detect mVEGF by sandwich ELISA (using 100 μL/well antibody solution) aconcentration of 0.5-2.0 μg/mL of this antibody is required. This antibody, in conjunctionwith biotinylated Anti-Murine VEGF (PP1113B) as a detection antibody, allows the detectionof at least 0.2-0.4 ng/well of recombinant mVEGF. Western BlotTo detect mVEGF by Western Blot analysis this antibody can be used at a concentration of0.1-0.2 μg/mL. Used in conjunction with compatible secondary reagents the detection limitfor recombinant mVEGF is 1.5-3.0 ng/lane, under either reducing or non-reducingconditions.

背景
- VEGF (vascular endothelial growth factor) is a homodimeric, disulfide-linked glycoprotein involved in angiogenesis which promotes tumor progression and metastasis. It exhibits potent mitogenic and permeability inducing properties specific for the vascular endothelium. Of the four isoforms of VEGF, the smaller two, VEGF165 and VEGF121, are secreted proteins and act as diffusible agents, whereas the larger two (VEGF189 and VEGF206) remain cell associated.Synonyms: VEGF, VEGFA, VPF, Vascular endothelial growth factor A, Vascular permeability factor
