Recombinant Human Lumican/LUM produced by transfected human cells is a secreted protein with sequence (Gln19-Asn338) of Human Lumican fused with a polyhistidine tag at the C-terminus.
纯度
> 95 % as determined by reducing SDS-PAGE.

0.2 μm filtered
内毒素水平
Less than 0.1 ng/μg (1 IEU/μg) as determined by LAL test
It is not recommended to reconstitute to a concentration less than 100 μg/mL. Dissolve the lyophilized protein in ddH2O. Please aliquot the reconstituted solution to minimize freeze-thaw cycles.
缓冲液
Lyophilized from a 0.2 μm filtered solution of 20 mM PB, 150 mM NaCl, 1 mM EDTA, pH 7.2.
注意事项
Always centrifuge tubes before opening. Do not mix by vortex or pipetting.

储存方法
Lyophilized protein should be stored at < -20°C, though stable at room temperature for 3 weeks. Reconstituted protein solution can be stored at 4-7°C for 2-7 days. Aliquots of reconstituted samples are stable at < -20°C for 3 months.
Lumican is a 40 kD secreted protein which belongs to the small leucine-rich repeat proteoglycans (SLRPs) and the class II subfamily. Human Lumican is synthesized as a 338 amino acid precursor then cut the 18 aa signal sequence. The mature Human Lumican contains 12 leucine-rich repeats (LRRs), 4 potential sites of N-linked glycosylation, and a C- terminal with two conserved cyst-eines. Lumican can be existed in extracellular matrix of human articular cartilage. Lumican participates in the maintenance of tissue homeostasis and regulates cellular functions in vivo, such as cell proliferation, adhesion, migration, and differentiation. The overexpression of lumican has been correlated to colorectal tumor, breast, neuroendocrine, and pancreatic cancers. Alternative Names: Lumican, Keratan Sulfate Proteoglycan Lumican, KSPG Lumican, LUM, LDC, SLRR2D
