Is expressed in bone marrow, femur, liver, and spleen. Human ortholog(s) of this gene implicated in blood platelet disease (multiple), coronary artery disease (multiple), and type 2 diabetes mellitus. Orthologous to human GP6 (glycoprotein VI platelet).
