背景
-
Background Information: USP22 is a subunit of the SAGA transcriptional cofactor complex. It deubiquitylates histone H2B and is recruited to specific genes by activators like Myc. USP22 is needed for cell cycle progression. It deubiquitylates histone H2A in addition to H2B. Altered mRNA expression is associated with therapy failure and death in patients multiple types of cancer.
