Background Information: C5orf13 may have roles in neural function. Ectopic expression augments motility of gliomas. C5orf13 promotes also axonal regeneration . It may also have functions in cellular differentiation. C5orf13 induces differentiation of fibroblast into myofibroblast and myofibroblast ameboid migration. C5orf13 increases retinoic-acid regulation of lipid-droplet biogenesis
