Western blot: 0.5-4 μg/mL. Recommended Positive Controls: Jurkat cell lysate, mouse small intestine and rat kidneytissue lysates. Based on researchers feedback, this antibody can also be used in Immunoprecipitationand Immunohistochemistry. Other applications not tested. Optimal dilutions are dependent on conditions and should be determined by the user.
The annexin family of calcium-binding proteins is composed of at least ten mammalian genes. It is characterized by a conserved core domain which binds to phospholipids in a Calcium dependent manner and a unique amino terminal region which may confer binding specificity. Annexin family members have been implicated as regulators of such diverse processes as ion flux, endocytosis and exocytosis, and cellular adhesion. Annexin V is ubiquitously expressed at high levels in tissues and cells grown in culture.Synonyms: ANX5, Anchorin CII, Annexin V, Annexin-5, CBP-I, Calphobindin I, ENX2, Endonexin II, Lipocortin V, PAP-I, PP4, Placental anticoagulant protein 4, Placental anticoagulant protein I, Thromboplastin inhibitor, VAC-alpha, Vascular anticoagulant-alpha
