IHC

HepG2 cells were fixed with 4% PFA for 10min at room temperature, and incubated in 5% BSA blocking buffer for 30 min at room temperature.

Paraformaldehyde-fixed, paraffin embedded mouse brain, Antigen retrieval by boiling in sodium citrate buffer (pH6) for 15min, Block endogenous peroxidase by 3% hydrogen peroxide for 30 minutes, Blocking buffer (normal goat serum) at 37°C for 20min, Antibody incubation with BDNF Polyclonal Antibody (bs-4989R) at 1:400 overnight at 4°C, followed by a conjugated secondary and DAB staining.

Participates in axonal growth, pathfinding and in the modulation of dendritic growth and morphology. The versatility of BDNF is emphasized by its contribution to a range of adaptive neuronal responses including long-term potentiation (LTP), long-term depression (LTD), certain forms of short-term synaptic plasticity, as well as homeostatic regulation of intrinsic neuronal excitability.
