- Application Note: F(ab')2 Anti-Goat IgG Peroxidase Antibody has been tested by ELISA and is assayed against 1.0 μg of Goat IgG in a standard capture ELISA using ABTS (2,2'-azino-bis-[3-ethylbenthiazoline-6-sulfonic acid]) code # ABTS-100 as a substrate for 30 minutes at room temperature. A working dilution of 1:10,000 to 1:50,000 is suggested for this product. This secondary conjugated antibody anti-goat is ideal for investigators who routinely perform titration assays, western-blot, immunoprecipitation and more generally immunoassays. - Because of their smaller size, F(ab)2 fragments offer several advantages over intact antibodies for use in certain immunochemical techniques and experimental applications. F(ab)2 fragments penetrate tissue samples and show better antigen recognition and signal generation in IHC. F(ab)2 fragments lack the Fc region and therefore do not bind Fc receptors which effectively lowers background staining. F(ab')2 Antibody is ideal for investigators who routinely perform flow cytometry, immunohistochemistry or IHC and other immunoassays.
