- Recognizes a protein of 50kD, identified as alpha heavy chain of human immunoglobulins. Reacts with both IgA1 and IgA2 isotypes. Does not cross-react with gamma (IgG), mu (IgM), epsilon (IgE), or delta (IgD), heavy chains, T-cells, monocytes, granulocytes, or erythrocytes.

Usage: Suitable for use in Immunohistochemistry. Immunohistochemistry (Formalin/paraffin): 1:250-1:500 for 60 min at RT. Staining of formalin/paraffin tissues requires boiling tissue sections in 10 mM citrate buffer, pH 6.0, for 10-20 min followed by cooling at RT for 20 min. Positive control: Tonsil. -
