- Recombinant EEF1G protein
-
产品特性
- EEF1G (Eukaryotic Translation Elongation Factor 1 Gamma), also called EF1G or GIG35, is a subunit of the elongation factor-1 complex, which is responsible for the enzymatic delivery of aminoacyl tRNAs to the ribosome. This subunit contains an N-terminal glutathione transferase domain, which may be involved in regulating the assembly of multisubunit complexes containing this elongation factor and aminoacyl-tRNA synthetases. EEF1G probably plays a role in anchoring the complex to other cellular components.

Protein Background: EEF1G (Eukaryotic Translation Elongation Factor 1 Gamma), also called EF1G or GIG35, is a subunit of the elongation factor-1 complex, which is responsible for the enzymatic delivery of aminoacyl tRNAs to the ribosome. Short Description: Recombinant EEF1G protein was expressed in E.coli as the full length protein (accession number NP_001395.1) with an N-terminal 6xHis Tag. The molecular weight of the protein is 53.7 kDa.
Aliases: Eukaryotic Translation Elongation Factor 1 Gamma
