Blocking Peptide (BP), Western Blotting (WB), Immunohistochemistry (IHC)
产品特性
This is a synthetic peptide designed for use in combination with anti-GRIK5 antibody (Catalog #: ARP37674_P050). It may block above mentioned antibody from binding to its target protein in western blot and/or immunohistochecmistry under proper experimental settings. There is no guarantee for its use in other applications.
GRIK5 is a protein that belongs to the glutamate-gated ionic channel family. Glutamate functions as the major excitatory neurotransmitter in the central nervous system through activation of ligand-gated ion channels and G protein-coupled membrane receptors. GRIK5 forms functional heteromeric kainate-preferring ionic channels with the subunits encoded by related gene family members. This gene encodes a protein that belongs to the glutamate-gated ionic channel family.
