This is a synthetic peptide designed for use in combination with anti-CIR antibody (Catalog #: ARP33737_P050). It may block above mentioned antibody from binding to its target protein in western blot and/or immunohistochecmistry under proper experimental settings. There is no guarantee for its use in other applications.
CIR may modulate splice site selection during alternative splicing of pre-mRNAs. CIR regulates transcription and acts as corepressor for RBPSUH by recruiting RBPSUH to the Sin3-histone deacetylase complex (HDAC). CIR is also required for RBPSUH-mediated repression of transcription.
