背景
- Protein isolation from plant tissue and plant cells (ToPI-P) is used specifically to isolate proteins from all types of plants. The isolated proteins can be analyzed by electrophoresis (1D, 2D and 2D-DIGE). Protease inhibitor cocktail is added to inhibit protease present in plants and protect the proteins from proteolytic degradation during isolation procedure. ToPI-P contains buffers necessary and it can be used for isolation of proteins from plants, fruits, leaves, seeds and roots.
