- Potent and selective PRMT5 inhibitor

- Potent (IC50 = 22 nM) and selective inhibitor of arginine methyltransferase 5 (PRMT5). PRMT5 dimethylates Myc, and its inhibition by EPZ015666 suppresses cell growth and induces apoptosis and/or cell cycle arrest in medulloblastoma and retinoblastoma cells. It also sensitizes glioblastoma cells to mTOR inhibitor PP242.
