The BD OptEIA™ Assay Diluent is intended for use in BD OptEIA™ ELISA Sets. The BD OptEIA Assay Diluent is a buffered protein solution containing FBS. The intended use for the BD OptEIA Assay Diluent is (a) to serve as a blocking agent for ELISA plates, (b) to serve as a diluent for ELISA standards/samples, and (c) to be used during the preparation of the Working Detector described in specific BD OptEIA ELISA Set protocols.
The BD OptEIA™ Assay Diluent should be clear, red in color and free of particulates/precipitation. -
