背景
- RAB7L1/RAB29 is involved in the movement of various molecules within cells, helping to maintain their proper function and organization. It is involvement in the endocytic pathway, where it helps to ensure that molecules are transported to the correct destination within the cell. This process is crucial for maintaining cellular homeostasis and responding to external signals. RAB29 also plays a critical role in autophagy, a process in which cells degrade and recycle damaged or unnecessary components. By regulating the trafficking of autophagosomes, the structures responsible for engulfing and degrading cellular material, RAB29 helps to maintain cell viability and prevent the accumulation of toxic substances.
