- Predicted to enable phosphatidylcholine binding activity and phosphatidylcholine transporter activity. Involved in negative regulation of cold-induced thermogenesis. Acts upstream of or within cholesterol metabolic process. Located in cytosol. Is expressed in several structures, including genitourinary system, hemolymphoid system gland, intestine, liver, and stomach. Orthologous to human PCTP (phosphatidylcholine transfer protein).
