- E-Selectin, aka CD62E, is a cell-surface glycoprotein with a role in immunoadhesion. It is responsible for the accumulation of blood leukocytes at sites of inflammation by mediating the adhesion of cells to the vascular lining, acting via interaction with SELPLG/PSGL1.
