Tissue Specificity: Detected in liver, skeletal muscle, kidney, pancreas, spleen, thyroid, testis, ovary, small intestine and colon.
Background: TP53I13 is involved in several processes, including negative regulation of cell cycle, response to UV, and response to xenobiotic stimulus. It may act as a tumor suppressorwhich could inhibits tumor cell growth, when overexpressed.
