背景
- Background: Nucleolar protein 132 (NOP132) was identified as a protein that interacts with the G protein, RRAG A (RAG A)/GTR1p, a member of the Ras-like small G protein family. NOP132 has been shown to interact mainly with proteins involved in ribosome biogenesis such as DDX47. NOP132 may play a role in recruiting pre-RNA processing proteins to regions of rRNA transcription in the nucleus.
