背景
- Background: Ribosome biogenesis protein NSA2 homolog, also known as hairy cell leukemia protein 1, is encoded for by the gene NSA2. The product of NSA2, also called TINP1, is a nucleolar protein involved in cell cycle regulation and proliferation. Hairy cell leukemia protein 1 is found at elevated levels in diabetic nephropathy [taken from NCBI Entrez Gene (Gene ID: 10412)].
