背景
- Background: The function of Ankyrin repeat and IBR domain-containing protein 1 (ANKIB1) has not been characterized. Structurally, ANKIB1 contains two ankyrin repeats, one IBR-type zinc finger, two RING-type zinc fingers, and an ubiquitin-interacting motif (UIM) repeat. The presence of a UIM suggests that ANKIB1 may have a function in the metabolism of ubiquitinated proteins.
