背景
- Background: Roquin-2 is encoded by the gene RC3H2, also known as MNAB. Roquin-2 is a post-transcriptional repressor of mRNAs containing a conserved stem loop motif called the constitutive decay element (CDE). Binding to the CDE promotes mRNA deadenylation and degradation [taken from UniProtKB (Entry: Q9HBD1)].
