背景
- Background: Oxysterol-binding protein-related protein 3 (ORP3) is a member of the oxysterol-binding protein (OSBP) family, a group of intracellular lipid receptors. Most members contain an N-terminal pleckstrin homology domain and a highly conserved C-terminal OSBP-like sterol-binding domain. ORP3 is involved in the regulation of cell adhesion and organization of the actin cytoskeleton [taken from NCBI Entrez Gene (Gene ID: 26031)].
