- Interferon alpha-17, IFN-alpha-17, Interferon alpha-88, Interferon alpha-I', LeIF I, Interferon alpha-TIFNA17 (Interferon Alpha 17) is a Protein Coding gene. Diseases associated with IFNA17 include Adenosquamous Pancreas Carcinoma and Crimean-Congo Hemorrhagic Fever. Among its related pathways are Response to elevated platelet cytosolic Ca2+ and RIG-I/MDA5 mediated induction of IFN-alpha/beta pathways. Produced by macrophages, IFN-alpha have antiviral activities. Interferon stimulates the production of two enzymes: a protein kinase and an oligoadenylate synthetase.
