The clone HP-4B3, a mouse monoclonal antibody recognizes ~28-34 kDa type II disulfide-linked homodimer receptor transmembrane glycoprotein known as CD69. It is also known as the activation inducer molecule (AIM) or the very early activation antigen (VEA) and is a member of the C-type lectin family. CD69 is transiently expressed on various immune cells including T cells, B cells, NK cells, etc. in presence of short-term in vitro PMA-stimulation.
