Background: PHOT2 | phototropin-2 is a membrane-bound serine/threonine kinase that functions as blue light photoreceptor in redundancy with PHOT1. Involved in processed like stomatal opening, chloroplast movement and phototropism. Alternative names: NPL1, K21L19.6, AtKin7, Defective in chloroplast avoidance protein 1Non-phototropic hypocotyl 1-like protein 1, NPH1-like protein 1.
