背景
- Background: CD2-associated protein appears to act as an adapter protein between membrane proteins and the actin cytoskeleton. It may also be a factor in receptor clustering and cytoskeletal polarity between T-cell and antigen-presenting cell. It seems it could also anchor the podocyte slit diaphragm to the actin skeleton in renal glomerulus. It is required for cytokinesis. CD2AP is widely expressed in fetal and adult tissue, localized in the cytoplasm of cells. Anti-CD2AP pY4-8-10 Antibody is ideal for investigators interested in Signal Transduction research.
