Peptide ELISA: Limit Dilution: 1/32000. Western blot: 0.001-0.01 μg/mL. Detects a band of approx. 26 kDa in Human Brain (Cerebellum),Mouse and Rat Brain lysates. An additional band of unknown identity was also consistentlyobserved at 16 kDa. This band was successfully blocked by incubation with the immunizingpeptide.
Other applications not tested.
Optimal dilutions are dependent on conditions and should be determined by the user. -

- Tubulin Polymerization Promoting Protein (TPPP) promotes in vitro polymerization of tubulin into double-walled tubules and polymorphic aggregates or bundled stabilized microtubules blocks. When overexpressed, TPPP inhibits mitotic spindle assembly and nuclear envelope breakdown, apparently without affecting other cellular events.Synonyms: 25 kDa brain-specific protein, TPPP1, Tubulin polymerization-promoting protein
