背景
- NR3B is a NMDA receptor subtype of glutamate-gated ion channels with reduced single-channel conductance, low calcium permeability and low voltage-dependent sensitivity to magnesium. NR3B is found in a complex containing GRIN1 and GRIN2A at the cell membrane. NR3B requires the presence of GRIN1 to be targeted at the cell membrane. NR3B is expressed in the hippocampus, corpus callosum, as well as the facial and trigeminal nuclei of the brainstem and the ventral horn of the spinal cord.Synonyms: Glutamate [NMDA] receptor subunit 3B, NMDAR3B, NR3B
