背景
- The antibody binds to an epitope of the C-terminal part of RAP, a sequence common to the human VLDL receptor superfamily (glycoprotein 330 and LRP), the chicken oocyte receptor for VLDL and vitellogenin (LR8), and glycoprotein 330/megalin from rat. No reaction with LDL receptor. The antibody interferes with binding of VLDL and vitellogenin receptor. Binding is Ca2+-dependent with LR8.
