Peptide ELISA: Limit dilution 1: 4000. Western blot: 1-3 μg/mL. Approx 35 kDa band observed in lysates of cell lines A431 andA549 (calculated MW of 38.6 kDa according to NP_004030.1 and NP_001002857.1).

背景
- The Annexins are a family of structurally similar proteins. Annexins bind to phospholipids and may be involved in regulation of membrane transport, membrane channel activity, and interaction of the cell membrane with the extracellular matrix. Annexin II is a calcium-regulated membrane-binding protein whose affinity for calcium is greatly enhanced by anionic phospholipids. It binds two calcium ions with high affinity. This protein functions as an autocrine factor which heightens osteoclast formation and bone resorption. This gene has three pseudogenes located on chromosomes 4, 9 and 10, respectively.
