FUNCTION: Possibly involved in structural functions as organizing other membrane components or in targeting the vesicles to the plasma membrane. SUBUNIT: Homohexamer or homotetramer. SUBCELLULAR LOCATION: Cytoplasmic vesicle secretory vesicle synaptic vesicle membrane, Multi-pass membrane protein.
