This gene belongs to the forkhead family of transcription factors which are characterized by a distinct forkhead domain. The specific function of this gene has not yet been determined, however, it may play a role in myogenic growth and differentiation. Translocation of this gene with PAX3 has been associated with alveolar rhabdomyosarcoma.,FKH1,FKHR,FOXO1A,FOXO1,Epigenetics & Nuclear Signaling,Transcription Factors,Nuclear Receptor Signaling,Nuclear hormone receptors,Cancer,Signal Transduction,PI3K-Akt Signaling Pathway,ErbB-HER Signaling Pathway,Cell Biology & Developmental Biology,Apoptosis,Inhibition of Apoptosis,Cell Cycle,G1/S Checkpoint,Endocrine & Metabolism,Insulin Receptor Signaling Pathway,Endocrine and metabolic diseases,Obesity,Immunology & Inflammation,B Cell Receptor Signaling Pathway,Neuroscience,Akt downstream targets,Protein phosphorylation,FOXO1
