原理 For biochemical analysis of RFP-tagged fusion proteins.
克隆位点 6G6
亚型 IgG2a
特异性 6G6 efficiently recognizes monomeric red fluorescent proteins from Discosoma sp. derived from DsRed such as mRFP, mCherry or mPlum but no green fluorescent proteins.
Tested on mRFP, mCherry, mPlum, mOrange, mRFPruby, dsRed
产品特性 Use this mouse monoclonal antibody (MAb) against monomeric RFPs, designated as RFP antibody [6G6]. The 6G6 MAb is characterized by high affinity and specificity against the DsRed derivatives and corresponding fusion proteins. It is suitable for immunoblotting assays.
纯化方法 Hybridoma supernatant
别名 RFP
背景 Fluorescent proteins (FP) are powerful tools to study protein localization and dynamics in living cells. In addition to the prominent green fluorescent protein (GFP) from Aequorea victoria, a red fluorescent protein (DsRed) was discovered in the coral Discosoma sp. Mutagenesis of the red progenitor have resulted in several monomeric red FPs (mRFP1, mCherry, mOrange, mPlum, etc.) which became attractive tools for a number of applications.
