The protein encoded by UPK1A is a member of the transmembrane 4 superfamily, also known as the tetraspanin family. 再加上，我们可以发UPK1A 抗体 (27) 和 UPK1A 蛋白 (4)和数多这个蛋白质的别的产品。
Down-regulation of UPK1A suppresses proliferation and enhances apoptosis of bladder transitional cell carcinoma cells.
Reduced expression of uroplakin 1A is associated with gastric adenocarcinoma.
Loss of UPK1A is associated with esophageal squamous cell carcinoma.
uroplakin Ia is expressed in urinary bladder transitional cell carcinoma
determined the genomic structure of the uroplakin Ia gene and defined the position of a transcriptional start site
mouse urothelium responds to the adhesion of type 1-fimbriated UPEC by activating dual ligand/receptor system, one between FimH adhesin and uroplakin Ia and another between lipopolysaccharide and Tlr4 (显示 TLR4 ELISA试剂盒).
These data support a model in which SNX31 mediates the endocytic degradation of uroplakins.
The despites a lower level of expression, UPIa maintain its plaque association in urothelial preneoplastic lesions.
Localization of uroplakin Ia, the urothelial receptor for bacterial adhesin FimH, on the six inner domains of the 16 nm urothelial plaque particle
The protein encoded by this gene is a member of the transmembrane 4 superfamily, also known as the tetraspanin family. Most of these members are cell-surface proteins that are characterized by the presence of four hydrophobic domains. The proteins mediate signal transduction events that play a role in the regulation of cell development, activation, growth and motility. This encoded protein is found in the asymmetrical unit membrane (AUM) where it can complex with other transmembrane 4 superfamily proteins. It may play a role in normal bladder epithelial physiology, possibly in regulating membrane permeability of superficial umbrella cells or in stabilizing the apical membrane through AUM/cytoskeletal interactions.
